The Thin Provisioning Advisor Card will analyze how much potential space can be reclaimed if a VM’s disk were to be shrank and/or thin provisioned. You’ll see a breakdown of all of the VMs with virtual disks that you could potentially save space on, as well as details such as the number of virtual disks a VM has, the amount of provisioned space, guest used and free space, hostname, OS, and VMware Tools status, as well as a in-depth view of the partitions and virtual disks. This card is great for optimizing the VM density in your data center, allowing you to save money on storage and run your data center more efficiently.
